Hello Everyone!!!

Today I thought I share a tip. I am finding templates very fun to use and

wanted to share with you two ways you can use a template,

Here is the template I choose

Duo Photo, Vol 2

We are going to focus on the one on the right.

Here I only flipped it.

Now here is another layout I did using the same template

See how I flipped it, and angled the top paper and photos. plus I added two more photos.

You can change a template to make it your own and reuse it over again.

Be sure to have fun with your templates and don’t be afraid to

change them around

Good Morning Everyone!

Can’t believe I almost forgot to make my post!

I am hoping you love the new Brownie Scraps, I know I sure do!!

Ok now onto the tutorial, Sometimes I love to just have a splash of color in my

picture. It just seems to really give focus on the subject.

This one is of my two boys and Mom walking ahead of me at a

trail in Roan Mountain

can you tell I only choose the people with a little greenery in front of them for color?

Gallery Standout and Layout of the Week

Happy Monday to everyone! Did you all get enough iNSD excitement over the weekend? I’m feeling a little like the day after Christmas…the excitement’s over and the house is a mess, lol!

Mondays here on the blog are going to be devoted to the Standout of the standouts! Let me explain…

Each week there will be a Gallery Standout thread, you can find this week’s thread here. You can pick a layout in the gallery that you love, and share it with the rest of us to love on as well!

At the end of the week, one of our Brownie Supremes will pick their favorite layout from the week’s thread and feature it here on the blog as Layout of the Week.

And, just because I can…I’m going to pick my favorite layout from this weekend to be Layout of the Week

I’ve chosen Wading by dkane. I love the blended photo with the elements blended in the corners and the way she used the 3 photo frames to draw your eye to the picture and the colors are perfect for a beach page. Makes me wish I was on the beach!

We are so excited to be re-opening! And just in time for {inter}National Scrapbook Day!

Welcome to BrownieScraps

Welcome to our brand new and spruced up home in digiland! Eileen and I have been working for hours and hours over the past few weeks to bring you our whole new look and concept! We know that a large part of scrapping is inspiration and nothing gives that better than templates! How much easier is it to scrap a layout or make a card when you have a starting point! We wanted to create a place that would have everything you need to do this! Just add the photos, the memory and the kit, but find all the layout inspiration you need from our templates!

And with the talented designers we brought on board, you should have no problem finding templates to match your unique style! We really like to believe that this is your one stop shop for templates!!
